The Whistleblower Protection Act generally applies to reports and disclosures of violations of criminal and administrative penalty provisions, as well as selected state, federal, and European legal provisions pursuant to § 2 HinSchG. In short, it covers everything that exists in statutory form in Germany.
Please note that information regarding security-classified matters, as specified in § 5 HinSchG (§ 5 HinSchG – Individual Provision (gesetze-im-internet.de)), must not be included in reports. In such cases, please contact our Security Officer (SiBe@elbitsystems-de.com) and our IT Security Officer (IT-SiBe@elbitsystems-de.com).

Confidentiality
We treat your personal data and the personal data of the individuals affected by the report as confidential. Personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act.
No Adverse Consequences for Reporting Violations
Reporting violations will not result in any adverse consequences for you. The Whistleblower Protection Act provides comprehensive protection, which we take very seriously. You do not need to fear any adverse measures as a result of or following a report.
Processing of Personal Data
The internal reporting office processes the personal data of the reporting individual and other persons named in the report in accordance with the legal basis set forth in Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR and Section 10 of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), to the extent necessary for conducting the reporting procedure and taking appropriate follow-up measures. In particular, the information you provide through the whistleblower system is processed for the purpose of verification, for internal investigations (including disclosure to external attorneys, auditors, or other professionals bound by professional confidentiality obligations, as well as to affected group companies), and, if necessary, for disclosure to government agencies.
Documentation
Reports are documented in accordance with legal requirements. The documentation is deleted three years after the conclusion of the proceedings. The documentation may be retained for a longer period to comply with the requirements of this law or other legal provisions, as long as this is necessary and proportionate.
